106 years ago today, February 5, 1919 (January 5, 1919 in the lunar calendar), the "Yellow International" was established. On February 5, 1919, the former Second International was restored, known as the so-called "Berne International", also known as the "Yellow International". The Second International was formerly known as the international federation of socialist political parties and workers 'groups from various countries. However, after the outbreak of the First World War, most social democratic parties openly betrayed the proletariat and became social chauvinism. After the end of the First World War, due to the victory of the October Socialist Revolution, proletarian political parties in various countries generally called for the establishment of a new proletarian international organization to promote world revolution. At the end of 1918, the leftists of the Socialist Party of Western European countries gathered in Petrograd, and in January of the following year, they adopted the "Letter to 39 Communist Groups" in Moscow. Under such circumstances, 26 right-wing socialist parties and "China" representatives from the former Second International, including the United States, Britain, France, and Germany, could not wait to hold a meeting in Bern, Switzerland on February 3 to elect the so-called socialist "International" Executive Committee, and publicly announced the restoration of the Second International on the 5th. Because it advocates bourgeois democracy, opposes the dictatorship of the proletariat, and supports the international alliance controlled by imperialist conquers, it is also a yellow, betrayal, and renegade International, so it is also known as the "Yellow International".
