After the founding of New China, Zhu Qizhan was a painter at the Shanghai China Academy of Painting, an adjunct professor at East China Normal University and Shanghai University, and served successively as the Shanghai Artists Association, executive director, and consultant of China Artists Association. In his later years, Zhu Qizhan adhered to the "reform" of art, and his works returned to their original nature, reaching the realm that many art masters in ancient and modern times dreamed of. In the past 10 years, 11 large-scale solo exhibitions of his have been held at home and abroad. In 1995, Shanghai's "Zhu Qizhan Art Museum" was completed, and 100 masterpieces created by Qi veterans over the years were donated to the art museum. One of Zhu Qizhan's works
