On August 26, 1346, a battle broke out between Britain and France in the village of Krusi, north of Abbeville.

The British army has 12,000 people and the French army has more than 30,000 people. During the battle, the British longbowmen effectively suppressed the French army's Genoa mercenary archers with intensive archers, inflicted heavy casualties on the French heavy cavalry, and caused serious chaos in the French army. The British infantry cavalry took the opportunity to launch a charge. King Philip VI fled the battlefield in panic.
