Liang Nvying, the first empress of Liu Zhi of Emperor Huan of Han Dynasty, passed away

Liang Nuying
Liang Nvying (? - August 9, 160), was a native of the Wu family in Anding (now northwest of Pingliang, Gansu), the daughter of General Liang Shang, the sister of General Liang Ji and Queen Liang Ji of Shunlie, and the first queen of Liu Zhi of Emperor Huan of the Han Dynasty. In the first year of Jianhe (147), she was made queen. Liang Nvying has no talent or virtue, and has a mediocre appearance. He just relied on the power of his brothers and sisters to rule the inner palace. Moreover, she lived a luxurious life, which made Emperor Huan of the Han Dynasty treat her coldly and died angrily in the second year of Yanxi (159). After her death, she was posthumously named Queen Yi Xian and was buried in Yiling. In the same year, Emperor Huan of the Han Dynasty killed Liang Ji and abandoned Yiling as a tomb for noble people.
