The Golden Horde Khanate in 1389

On December 5, 1408, the army of the Golden Horde, led by the enemy, arrived under Moscow, after the Mongol army burned Novgorod and Gorodets in succession. Although the Mongol army caused some losses to the Russian countries, it eventually withdrew after accepting compensation from the Principality of Moscow. This event became the last large-scale invasion of Russia by the Golden Horde.
