On this day, 56 years ago, on April 28, 1969 (March 12, 1969, the First Plenary Session of the Ninth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China was held. On the afternoon of April 28, 1969, the Ninth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China held its first plenary meeting. All members of the Central Committee attended the meeting, and all alternate members of the Central Committee attended the meeting as nonvoting delegates.
