On this day, 92 years ago, on September 22, 1933 (August 3, 1933, the 19th Route Army and the Red Army had a truce on the front line. On September 22, 1933, Chen Gongpei, the liaison representative of the 19th Route Army, and five other people arrived in the Wangtai Soviet Area in Fujian to contact the Communist Party of China to jointly oppose Chiang and resist Japan. Peng Dehuai telegraphed the Central Committee and held talks with Chen. Chen said that the 19th Route Army wanted to oppose Chiang and resist Japan, and if it did not oppose Chiang, it would not be possible to resist Japan. Peng said: "To resist Japan, we must oppose Chiang, because Chiang implemented a traitorous policy of 'resisting foreign countries must first stabilize the domestic country.' Only by resisting Japan can the civil war be stopped. On the 25th, Peng Dehuai wrote a letter to Cai Tingkai, welcoming the 19th Route Army's response to the Chinese Communist Party's "Three Conditions for Common Anti-Japanese Aggression" and cooperating with the Red Army. At the same time, he seriously criticized the 19th Route Army's past erroneous behavior of resisting communism and oppressing the people. He also asked the 19th Route Army to send representatives to Ruijin, the capital of the Soviet Area, to negotiate with the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. The 19th Route Army and the Red Army entered a truce on the front line in Yanping, Fujian.
