On this day, 33 years ago, March 9, 1992 (February 6, 1992, the lunar calendar), China joined the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons. On December 29, 1991, China decided to join the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons and submitted its instrument of accession on March 9, 1992, which entered into force for China at the same time. The Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons is an international treaty concluded and signed on January 7, 1968 by the United Kingdom, the United States, the Soviet Union and 59 other countries in London, Washington and Moscow respectively, with a total of 11 articles.
