Xiao Chu's daughter (1893-1927) was originally known as Shu Lie, and her scientific name was Chu Ru, with the word Qiu. From Hanyang, Hubei. Participated in the May 4th Movement in Wuhan. In 1920, he participated in the Liqun Society and Coexistence Society initiated by Hui Daiying and others. In 1922, he joined the Communist Party of China. Soon he went to Sichuan to establish Chongqing Public School; Served as editor-in-chief of Xinshu News. In 1924, he served as a central commissioner and led the work of the Chongqing Social Youth League. In 1925, he arrived in Shanghai and co-edited "China Youth" with Yun Daiying. He actively supported the masses 'anti-imperialist actions and fought against Dai Jitao, the rightist of the Kuomintang. In 1926, he went to Guangzhou to assist Mao Zedong in editing the Political Weekly. He served as a full-time instructor at the Peasant Movement Institute and a political instructor at the Whampoa Military Academy. In 1927, he was arrested by the Kuomintang reactionaries during the "April 15th" counter-revolutionary massacre in Guangzhou. He was brave and unyielding in prison and died heroically on April 25.
