Breaking-News >> TodayHistory Inventor and telephone inventor Alexander Graham Bell was born
Alexander Graham Bell (1847-1942) American inventor and entrepreneur. He invented the world's first usable telephone and founded Bell Telephone Company. It is praised by the world as the "father of the telephone." Alexander Graham Bell was born in Edinburgh, Scotland, on March 3, 1847, where he received his primary education. Bell's main achievement was the invention of the telephone. In addition, he made hearing aids; improved the phonograph invented by Edison; he contributed greatly to the invention of the deaf language; he wrote more than 100 articles and pamphlets. From 1875 to 1922, he received thirty patents from the United States government. As a result of these many inventions, Bell received a certificate of the Centennial Prize from the Philadelphia World's Fair in 1876, and the same year he received a Doctor of Science degree from Boston University. The following year, he received a Voltaire Prize of 50,000 francs and became a member of the French Legion of Honor. In order to commemorate Bell's achievements, a unit for measuring power or power density ratio in electricity and acoustics is named "Bell". There are so many telephone providers, but it was Alexander Bell who created the world's first (and most powerful) telephone company, Bell Telephone Company. Bell was not just a one-man wizard. His research ideas involved air conditioning (he actually built the original air conditioning system in his own house), hydrofoils, and the concept of information magnetic memory (which led to an innovation never seen before in his life - the computer). Alexander Bell was also the inventor of the world's first metal detector, which he assembled to detect the bullet in the body of U.S. President James Garfield. The detector worked, but it couldn't locate the bullet because Garfield was lying on a metal frame bed during the inspection.
