On this day 73 years ago, on May 30, 1952 (May 7, 1952 in the lunar calendar), the work of party consolidation and party building was carried out on the basis of the "Three Antis" movement. On May 30, 1952, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China issued the "Instructions on Party Consolidation and Party Building Work on the Basis of the" Three Antis "Movement to Party committees at all levels. The" Instructions "said that the" Three Antis "movement was the most profound and vivid education for the people of the whole country, a strict test for Communist Party members, and a practical and effective rectification for the organization of the Communist Party. At the same time, it greatly created favorable conditions for party building. The Central Committee instructed all localities: (1) In the "Three Antis" movement, a single education combined with the eight criteria of party members can better raise the consciousness of all party members and correct the shortcomings and mistakes of certain party members. The work of party consolidation in organs at all levels across the country should be completed within 1952. The "Three Antis" movement has trained the original non-party member activists in organs at all levels, and a large number of new activists have emerged at the same time. The Party has also gained a better understanding of the ideological and historical situation of such activists. Therefore, the preparations for party founding and the work of accepting new party members should be actively carried out in organs at all levels. It is absolutely necessary and possible to require that within the next one year, 20% of the members of the Youth League in government agencies 600,000 and other outstanding elements should be admitted into the Party according to the procedures for accepting new Party members. (2) The "Three Antis" and "Five Antis" movements have greatly increased the consciousness of workers and shop assistants. Leaders and planned batches of outstanding elements among workers and shop clerks 400,000 people to join the Party. (3) After the "Three Antis" movement, ideological reform, and this "Three Antis" movement, the students in colleges and universities and most of the teaching staff in universities and primary and secondary schools have been improving ideologically and politically, and a large number of outstanding young activists have emerged, demanding to join the Party one after another. To this end, within one year, it is required that 10% of college students be admitted to the Party after the "Three Antis", ideological reform and cleaning up of the middle ranks in various schools; 3% of the large, medium and small teaching staff should be accepted to join the Party. (4) The "Three Antis" in rural areas, the "Three Antis" in county and district organs, and the "Three Antis" and party consolidation work in county and district organs must be combined with production, urban-rural exchanges, the Autumn Expedition, land reform review in new districts, democratic government building, and party consolidation and party building work in old districts. At the same time, some new activists must also be recruited to join the Party. In addition, there are 120,000 new villages in new districts and 20,000 old villages in old districts across the country that do not have party organizations. We should strive to establish party organizations within the next year. To this end, nearly 1 million party members must be admitted in the countryside. This is a lot of work that must be done carefully to do well. The Central Committee finally pointed out that party committees at all levels must take advantage of the results of the "Three Antis" movement, discuss and study with a positive attitude, and seriously carry out party consolidation and party building work.
