On December 22, 1995 (the first day of the winter lunar month), Prince Shrivu of Cambodia went into exile in France. On December 22, 1995, Prince Norodom Shrivu, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Royal Government of Cambodia and Secretary-General of the ruling Funcinpec Party, left Phnom Penh by plane and traveled to France via Singapore to live in exile.
