Indonesian President emphasizes maintaining social order and security according to law

Indonesian President Prabhupada issued a statement on August 31, stressing that he will safeguard social order and public security in accordance with the law.

Prabhupada said that political parties have taken measures, such as withdrawal of seats, cancellation of subsidies and suspension of visits, against the inappropriate behavior of some members of parliament, in response to social concerns.

In response to the riots in some areas, Prabowo stressed that the government will not stand idly by for sabotage and violence. He asked the military and police to decisively maintain social order and protect people's safety and public facilities according to law.

Prabowo called on the people to remain calm, not to be provoked, to continue to carry forward the tradition of mutual assistance and cooperation, and to jointly maintain national unity and stability.

Demonstrations have taken place in many parts of Indonesia in recent days, with clashes and arson in some areas.
