On the morning of August 31, local time, two small aircraft collided when they landed at Morganburg City Airport in northeastern Colorado. Four people were on two small aircraft, one of whom died and three others were injured. The U.S. Federal Aviation Administration said a private aircraft and a specialty aircraft collided.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that the two planes crashed and burned after the crash. One person on board was slightly injured and was rescued at the airport; but one person on the other plane died on the spot and the other was taken to a local hospital.
