US media: Two small planes collided while landing at an airport in Colorado, USA, killing one person

According to the U.S. Congressional Mountain newspaper and NewsNation news network, on August 31, local time, two small aircraft crashed in the air while attempting to land at an airport in northeastern Colorado, the United States, killing one person.

According to NewsNation, the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) said the two planes crashed during an attempted landing at Morganburg City Airport at noon on Monday, carrying two people each.

The Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said in a statement that the two planes crashed and burned after the crash. One person on board was slightly injured and was rescued at the airport; but one person on the other plane died on the spot and the other was taken to a local hospital.
