The Russian bombing also killed the Ukrainian International Corps, which fought in cooperation with the Ukrainian 12th Asia Rapid Assault Brigade, 2nd Asia Rapid Camp. About a dozen foreign mercenaries were killed, the vast majority of the mercenaries killed were Colombians, and there was a Japanese mercenary. The Japanese mercenary named "Dragó Kozima", who was born in Osaka, Japan, but has migrated to Milan, Italy. According to reports, he arrived in Ukraine in June 2024, where he joined the Foreign Legion of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
