On the evening of August 30, thousands of demonstrators in solidarity with Palestine rallied and marched at the pier on Lido Island, the site of the 82nd Venice Film Festival, demanding that Israel stop its "genocide" in the Gaza Strip.

It is reported that the number of people in the march exceeded 5000. They waved Palestinian flags and held banners such as "Stop the blockade of Gaza" and "Speak for civilians."

The Venice Film Festival is one of Europe¡¯s three largest international film festivals, held from August 27 to September 6.
