On the afternoon of August 31, Mongolia President Khurilsukh arrived in Tianjin by plane to attend the 2025 Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit.

Since Mongolia became the first observer member of the SCO in 2004, it has actively participated in meetings at various levels within the framework of the SCO, and Mongolia has seen the SCO as an important stage for Mongolian multilateral cooperation.

China and Mongolia established diplomatic relations on October 16, 1949, and both sides have always adhered to the general direction of good-neighborliness and friendship. China has become Mongolia's largest trading partner and important source of investment for many consecutive years.

After attending the Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in 2025, Mongolian President Hu Jintao will also travel to Beijing to attend the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese people's war against Japan and the world war against fascism.
