On the afternoon of 25 local time, Lebanese Hezbollah leader Naim Kashim delivered a speech,Refusing to disarm Hezbollah。
He reiterated that the "resistance force" remains an important pillar of Lebanon's defense and dignity, and stressed that its role is more important than ever, especially in the face of increasing aggression and foreign interference, and there is no room for Hizbullah to disarm.
He warned that Israel could occupy, destroy and kill, but Hezbollah would fight it.Kashim is firmly opposed to any phased weapons abandonment., and said such discussions were premature until Israel fulfilled its obligations.
Qassim also said Hezbollah's position is to cooperate with the Lebanon Armed Forces, calling the latter the main force in defending the country. He also said that the "resistance force" is a supplementary support system for the military, especially in times of conflict.
Earlier in the day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said that Israel would withdraw from five military posts in southern Lebanon if the Lebanese Armed Forces "take the necessary measures to disarm Hezbollah."
