The West has been pushing for peace in Ukraine, but in fact the war has become more and more fierce. On August 28, Russia attacked Ukraine again, and this time it was "big"!Because the Russian missiles hit the EU's office in Ukraine, the EU is now angrily saying to arm Ukraine as a "big pig" and Zelensky is also seeking China to "talk."
But the question is, can Zelensky find China?
Russian missile hits EU office
Although Trump has worked very hard to mediate the Russia-Ukraine conflict, I am afraid the conflict will not end so easily, because this time it is really a "big problem"!
On August 28, Russia took out its own hypersonic missiles and other advanced weapons to conduct air strikes on Ukraine. Moreover, the scale of this air strike was still very large. Ukraine said that Russia launched nearly 600 drones and more than 30 missiles. Although the air defense system hit many, more than a dozen places were still hit, including many civilian facilities.
Zelensky said a Turkish company was damaged in the attack and the Azerbaijani embassy was damaged, but that was not the worst, and worst of all, the EU delegation in Ukraine and the UK embassy’s cultural department were also damaged.
This is a big deal for the western world. Originally, although Russian missiles would also hit civilian facilities, they never hit EU institutions after all. The West turned a blind eye and pretended not to see it, but now the situation is different.
This time, the European Union began to condemn Russia for attacking civilian facilities, and also came up with three major tactics of "up the ante sanctions, freezing sanctions, and military assistance to Ukraine" as "retaliation" against Russia.
In particular, European Union Commission President Von der Leyen was so exasperated that she quickly expressed the need to speed up one thing: the reconstruction of Ukraine with Russian assets frozen in Europe.
This idea, the Western countries have long put forward, but the progress is relatively slow, this time the European Union has taken this trick, obviously has been rapidly degraded.
In addition, Von der Leyen also vowed to continue military aid to Ukraine, arming the Ukrainian armed forces into "steel big pigs" and using them "against Russia".
The European Union is angry and we also need to understand one question: why is Russia attacking the EU’s offices in this blink of eye?
Russia and the EU "can't talk"?
In fact, Russia did not acknowledge this thing about attacking the EU office. In Russia's public response, they said that Russia and Ukraine are different, Ukraine frequently attacks Russian civilian facilities and peaceful infrastructure, but Russia only attacks military facilities on the Ukrainian side, including some facilities related to military facilities. Including this airstrike, Russia's targets are also just military facilities and have nothing to do with civilians.
As for why the EU delegation's office in Ukraine was damaged? The Russian side said that this was because Ukraine's air defense missiles hit blindly, or Ukraine adopted electronic warfare measures, which caused the system to "fail" and affected civilian facilities. Anyway, it was not its own fault, but was caused by Ukraine.
Moreover, Russia also accused the EU of turning a blind eye to Ukraine's attacks on civilian facilities, only knowing that the villains complained first.
How the office of the European Union delegation was attacked is actually unclear, but anyway, many things in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict are "muddled accounts", and Russia and Ukraine accuse each other of doing it, which is not bad.
The question is, if this Russia was intentional, why would Putin make this dangerous decision?
Trump stubbornly pushed for a ceasefire in Russia, Putin also gave the face, and he was interviewed in Alaska, and also promised Ukraine's security issues, basically if Western military forces do not enter Ukraine, the West gives a little "security promise", Putin can also accept.
But the EU showed no face, claiming that it would not only give Ukraine weapons, but also send ground troops to Ukraine. If this happens, then won't the more than three years of war be in vain?
Therefore, Putin may be warning the European Union not to act rashly, let alone continue to fire in Ukraine, otherwise, the scene will only be more ugly.
Is Ukraine looking for China to "ask for an explanation"?
In this situation, Ukraine is in a worse situation because it looks like the EU is supporting Ukraine on the surface, but in fact, the EU is more in the "mouthgun", really beaten or Ukraine.
Zelensky has now regained his composure and still wants to "ask for an explanation" from China. Media reports said that Zelensky recently expressed the hope that China could respond to the "current situation." What is the current situation? Of course, it is the increasingly fierce situation on the Russian-Ukrainian battlefield.
Zelensky now seems to value China’s views, but don’t forget that just a few days ago he also rejected Russia’s request for China to join the proposal for security in Ukraine, and claimed that China could have “stopped this conflict,” and had a lot of complaints about us.
On the one hand, if China blames Russia, it proves that Russia is “lost and helpless”; on the other hand, if China is more “prejudiced” by Russia, it will be able to allow the West to continue to blackmail China, saying that China “military assistance to Russia.”
But what Zelensky can think of, how can we not think of it? Therefore, we chose no path, but called for peaceful dialogue from a neutral standpoint, and emphasized that all parties should push for a cooling down of the situation rather than fighting fire in Russia and Ukraine, otherwise the escalation of the war will not benefit everyone.
It is clear that Zelensky is a little bit clever, but has ignored the power of the great powers of China. Our attitude is consistent and clear, and nothing will change because of Zelensky's repeated inconsistency. After all, we have never argued between Russia and Ukraine, and there is nothing to worry about.
In fact, Zelensky should also want to understand that if the war continues, and Ukraine itself is the most hurt, and if he still can’t “drop off” his dependence on the West and truly long-term peace between the Russians, then Ukraine may really be “completely abolished.”
Now, Ukraine still has the opportunity to have a good talk with Russia, achieve a long-term ceasefire, and start post-war reconstruction as soon as possible. Only in this way will there be hope for Ukraine's future.
