This afternoon (30th), Nepalese Prime Minister Oli arrived at Tianjin Binhai International Airport by plane. He will attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Summit to be held in Tianjin from August 31 to September 1.

This year marks the tenth year that Nepal has become a dialogue partner of the SCO and the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nepal. Nepal is one of the first countries to join the joint construction of "the belt and road initiative", and China is Nepal's second largest trading partner. In 2024, the bilateral trade volume between China and Nepal will exceed US $2.1 billion, a year-on-year increase of approximately 22%.
