The South Korean Special Prosecutor's Group on 29 November filed a prosecution against former President Yin Ziyu, Ms. Kim Jiangxi, and former South Korean Prime Minister Hyun Dae-young.

Kim became the first former president's wife in South Korean constitutional history to be indicted in detention, and she will face court trial like Yoon Seok-yuk. South Korea's KBS TV said on the 29th that the former president and his wife were tried in custody at the same time for the first time in South Korean constitutional history.

According to the Associated Press, South Korea, which investigated the case of Kim Jong-il, that Kim Jong-il allegedly violated the Capital Market Law and the Law on Political Funds, as well as the relevant provisions on bribes in the Law on Specific Crimes, filed a lawsuit against Kim Jong-il. Among them, the Special Prosecutors accused Kim Jong-il of participating in the manipulation of German car stock prices between 2009 and 2012 and violating the Law on the Capital Market; she was suspected of accepting the public opinion survey provided free of charge by ¡°Political Clients¡± and intervening in the election of a member of the National Congress, violating the Law on Political Funds; she was suspected of accepting petitions and bribery in the ¡°Building the Law¡± and South Korea¡¯s ¡°United Teachers¡±.

Previously, Kim Jianxi was detained in a detention center in southern Seoul on the 12th, and the arrest warrant for her will expire on the 31st. According to Korean media, the detention period of Kim Jianxi can be extended by up to six months after the formal indictment of the special inspection team. Since Kim Jianxi was detained, she has been summoned by the special inspection team five times for investigation, and she has mostly refused to answer questions.

On the same day, the Special Inspectorate of South Korea charged with the investigation of emergency arrests, allegedly assisting in civil riots, making false public documents, damaging public documents, making false testimony, and other crimes, filed a prosecution against Hunt. The Special Inspectorate said that when Yong Ziyang declared emergency arrests on December 3, Hunt as one of the highest administrative heads of the time, could prevent emergency arrests, but did not fulfill the constitutional duties, instead of actively applying for the legitimacy of unconstitutional and illegal emergency arrests procedures.
