One wave is unsettled, another wave rises again.
The current international situation has become a pot of pot, and no one is willing to give in.The ceasefire negotiations have given Trump a busy turn, but there is still no effect, and even an escalation.
Concerns in the international community are getting stronger day by day. At the critical moment of the Russia-Ukraine negotiations, three more major events occurred.
The first big thing
In the early morning of the 27th, the Houthi armed forces fired a long-range missile at Israel's Ben Gurion International Airport, claiming that the missile hit the target accurately.
The missile uses advanced stealth technology, has a maximum range of 2,150 kilometers, and a flight speed of up to 16 times the speed of sound. It can fly from the launch site to the target area in just a few minutes, leaving extremely limited time for the air defense system to respond and intercept.
This time, as the Houthis said, the Israeli air defense forces quickly activated the "Iron Dome" and other multi-layer air defense systems after detecting the missile, and tried to intercept it many times, but failed to shoot down the missile.
The missile precisely hit the target, injuring at least eight people and destroying the airport.
After the attack, Ben Gurion International Airport was completely shut down and all flights were urgently suspended.
The Israeli Aviation Administration immediately ordered the closure of the runway and the evacuation of passengers staying there to ensure the risk of a second attack was effectively controlled.
A number of international airlines subsequently announced that flights to and from Israel would be cancelled or diverted in the next few days, which directly brought a significant impact to Israel's international transportation and economic operations.
The airport administration subsequently issued a statement highlighting the severity of the incident, noting that it was the first time a missile directly hit a location so close to the main Israeli airport.
It can be seen that the Houthi missile has brought great oppression to Israel and has also caused domestic and foreign countries to reassess the security situation in the region.
Experts also believe that the Houthi armed attack fully reflects the progress in missile technology and strategic deployment, and in the past conflict, the two sides have been infiltrated, but have rarely and unilaterally gained advantages.
Judging from the recent counterattacks by the Houthi armed forces against Israel, the Israeli army's previous continuous air strikes did not force the Houthis to back down or compromise, but instead stimulated them to take more violent retaliatory actions.
If this high-intensity confrontation continues to escalate, Israel is likely to face more severe, even unpredictable, strikes.
The second big thing
Israel is facing attacks on this side, and the fate of Gaza is also on the ballot.
The United Nations Security Council has convened a public meeting on Monday to discuss the situation in the Middle East.
The situation in Gaza is now worsening, with the number of civilian deaths caused by the conflict rising, and critical resources such as medical care, food and clean drinking water being severely lacking.
To prevent the tragedy from continuing, we demand an immediate, unconditional and permanent ceasefire, the release of all detainees, the lifting of the blockade of humanitarian aid to Gaza, and ensuring the timely delivery of medicines, food and drinking water to the disaster areas.
But the outcome of the vote regretted many.14 of the 15 member states voted in favour, and the United States cast a key veto at the most critical moment, causing the resolution to be approved almost entirely.
As soon as the news came out, international public opinion quickly fermented. Many governments, international organizations and humanitarian aid agencies expressed disappointment and dissatisfaction one after another, believing that vetoing the resolution was tantamount to delaying the opportunity to save lives.
China's ambassador to the United Nations said after the meeting that he was "deeply disappointed". He pointed out that the draft is not a complicated political game, but responds to "the most urgent voice of the people of Gaza who are struggling in death and despair" and is the general consensus of the international community.
He stressed that the U.S. veto not only contradicts the position of most countries around the world, but also aggravates the humanitarian situation that is already at risk of collapse.
The United States exercised veto power, leaving the Security Council deadlocked in efforts to push for a ceasefire and de-escalate the crisis.
The Secretary-General of the United Nations and multi-humanitarian organizations reiterated that protecting civilian lives should be the first responsibility of the international community, regardless of political differences.
The situation in Gaza is still unoptimistic today: rescue is scarce, the medical system is near paralysis, and hundreds of thousands of displaced civilians are in urgent need of asylum.
Third important thing.
The situation in the Middle East has not yet stabilized, and the war in Israel has broken out again.
Recently, Israel has not only maintained high-intensity military strikes in Gaza, but also further expanded the scope of its operations to Syria.
According to the Israeli military, military warplanes launched an air strike on an important military facility in Damascus, the capital of Syria, aiming at the gate of the headquarters of the General Staff of Syria.
Syria's official news agency said that after the Israeli air strike, many places in Damascus were in chaos, and medical rescue forces rushed to the scene to try to save the lives of more injured people.
But it still caused one death and 18 injuries.
Syrian authorities issued a statement on Monday strongly condemning Israel's invasion of southern Syria, saying the series of military operations seriously violated Syria's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
He also called on the United Nations and the international community to take practical measures to restrain Israel and prevent the situation from further getting out of control.
How to put it, Israel today seems to be a drone fighter plane. It has ignored the Security Council's repeated pressure on the other side in Gaza. Now it is still difficult to stop Israel's military strikes in Syria through the United Nations.
The current international situation is complicated, and the Palestinian issue remains unresolved.
The desire to completely change the fate of Palestine and solve the profound problems of historical legacy is obviously not possible with a single operation of the Houthis armed.
China, Russia, Britain, France, and a number of other countries have publicly expressed deep disappointment over Israel’s ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip, and even called it a “humanitarian catastrophe.”
Although these voices are gradually increasing, whether the strength of the international community can unite into concerted action is still a question that cannot be ignored.
Nations’ positions in this dispute are complex, interests intertwined, and some countries’ support for Israel even outweighs concerns about Palestine, making it difficult for years to fundamentally change the situation.
