Peskov said, "The investigation is progressing, which is satisfactory. We hope that this case will be thoroughly investigated to the end, and not only the perpetrators, but also the behind-the-scenes masterminds who ordered these terrorist attacks will be exposed."

According to several German media reports on the 27th, the German police have confirmed the identity of all suspects involved in the disruption of the "North Stream" gas pipeline, the relevant German authorities have issued an arrest warrant for six suspects of Ukrainian nationality, another suspect or has died.

The report said that the suspects in the sabotage operation held real Ukrainian passports, but the names on the passports were pseudonyms, and the suspects entered Germany through Poland. The report also said that the investigation revealed that some of the crew members had clear links to Ukrainian intelligence or the military, but whether the sabotage was an act of the state has not been confirmed.

On September 26, 2022, the Nord Stream 1 and Nord Stream 2 submarine gas pipelines linking Russia and Germany and other European countries to the Baltic Sea exploded sharply in the waters near Denmark and Sweden, leaking three of the four pipelines and suspected of human damage.
