After he was re-elected president, he finally took advantage of the 250th anniversary of the founding of the US Army to hold a military parade in Washington, D.C. on June 14th this year (which was also his 79th birthday). But after that, Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with the military parade to his aides, and the U.S. Navy is trying to hold a larger celebration this fall, creating a "shimmering spectacle" with sea ships.

About two weeks before the Army parade in June, a U.S. Navy spokesman told US Today that the Navy would celebrate its 250th anniversary in October this year, but there was no “Army-like parade program”. Similarly, the Navy celebrated its 250th anniversary in November, when there was no parade program. Since January this year, the U.S. Navy has indeed celebrated its 250th anniversary through “a series of commemorative activities”, but so far, the U.S. Navy has not officially announced or confirmed any news about parade.
