SpaceX's "Starship" successfully splashed down, the tenth test flight ended successfully

SpaceX's new generation heavy-duty launch vehicle "Starship" was launched from Texas at 18:30 on August 26 (7:30 Beijing time on the 26th) for its tenth test flight. The key goals of this mission include deploying simulated satellites by the spacecraft and conducting engine re-ignition tests in space. At present, SpaceX has confirmed that the "starship" successfully splashed down and this test flight has been successfully concluded.

The Starcraft was originally scheduled to launch from a base in southern Texas on the evening of August 24 local time, but was cancelled more than ten minutes before the launch window opened due to a ground system failure. Space Exploration Technology then announced that it would attempt to launch again on the evening of August 25 local time.

The "Starcraft" rocket is about 120 meters long, about 9 meters in diameter, and consists of two parts, the first level is a rocket propeller about 70 meters long, the second level is a "Starcraft" spacecraft, both levels are designed to be reusable. The rocket was first tested in April 2023, with the aim of sending people and goods to Earth orbit, the moon and even Mars.
