On August 24th, Ukraine celebrated its 34th Independence Day. On this day in 1991, Ukraine declared independence from the Soviet Union.

At the celebration of Independence Day, Zelensky presented the First Class Medal of Merit to Kellogg, who attended the event on behalf of the United States.
