Reported that the Pentagon's approval requirements actually overturned former U.S. President Biden's decision in the final year of his term to allow Ukraine to use ATACMS to target targets in Russia.

Pentagon and Ukrainian officials did not respond to requests for comment.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement, "President Trump has made it very clear that the war in Ukraine must end. There is currently no change in the military posture between Russia and Ukraine. Secretary Hegseth is working with Trump President Keep pace."
